Inspired by the flat agricultural landscape of Cambridgeshire and the glorious sunrises we see during October and November. On these days the wind whips across the fields and brings together gatherings of these mystical birds – if only I could translate the caw-cawing into the images too!
Crows are maligned through folklore but they are intelligent birds. I feed all birds that visit our garden - the crows are comical as they waggle to the food and feed in what appears to be small family groups.
This watercolour would add a vibrant splash of colour to a neutral room.
